WWI: Should we or Shouldn't We?

Imagine you are advisors to President Willson in 1916 (before the US entered the war) What would you tell him? Should we get involved or stay neutral?  Explain your reasons with historical details.

We should get involved because Germany told Mexico that if they would help them attack the United States then they would help get back some lost states that Mexico had. Also they attacked the Lusitania which had some Americans on it. So I think that we should get involved in World War 1.

I would get involved in the war, because the germans are sinking our merchant ships. Also don't forget about the Lusitania it killed over 220 american suvilians. Finaly the zingelman telagrah if the germans win the war they will help Mexico take back land.

Dear President Wilson,
You should declare war on the Central Powers. You should declare war because German U Boats are sinking any ship in British waters so many Americans have died. Also, Germany is threataning to take back some territory so you need to stop them. It would be a good idea to join the war.

Let's get involved! If the Central Powers win, they could stop our trade with England. We would have to survive on what we can make. We also don't want another ship with our passengers getting sunk. If we don't get into the war, we won't be America anymore.

We think America should get involved in ww1. Why should we get involved: because the Germans atacked U.S civilians and ships. And if we don't get involed the Germanswill hepl mexicans take back there land.
