Dear parents,

Most of our friends have no babysitters so you should let us stay at home alone

So think about this

We think you should leave us at home because we are responsible enough. We are responsible enough to take care of ourselves. Why we think that is because we saved a lot of money and we did not have to give the babysitter a lot of gas money (only 4 dollars). And we saved enough to buy stuff for entertainment. And to help us survive. We don’t need the babysitter to take care of us because we are old enough to stay home by ourselves. And what would happened if our babysitter past out we would be alone with a pasted out babysitter and we would not trash our house

In conclusion dearest parents let us stay at home (weep weep)

Out of $50.00 we had we spent $37.49. We spent $16.50 at Greens Groceries, $15.99 at Pauline’s Provisions, and $5.00 at Foster’s Foods (all these prices include gas.)

Dear parents,
We would like to write to you because we have been very good over the weekend. We bought all the things you told us to buy and didn’t go over $50.00.We think we are responsible because we didn’t go over are limit of money and got all the groceries. We also paid the baby sitter for gas. We doubled everything so we had enough. So we hope you think we are responsible too(please tell us when you get home).

Dear parents of Jared ,Talia ,Sylvie and Joshua,

Hello while you were gone we took your shopping list. We tried to buy what we could afford for all five of us staying under $50. We also paid for gas.

First we got milk. We got it for 2 gallons for six bucks. That will be enough to last .We bought to loaves of bread for 4.50, that’s enough for breakfast .We also got some yummy cereal for $1.09.then we got peanut butter and jelly .It makes great sandwiches .We got 2 jars of peanut butter for $4.00 and one jar of jelly for $3.25, but it was buy one get on free offer. Next we got the lunch meet; we got a big pack of turkey for $4.00. For fruit we got 2 pounds of bananas for $1.70 and a one pound melon for $1.50. We got one bag of salad for $3.50, and one pound of broccoli for $3.00. Last but not least, we got dessert. We got a one pound bag of chocolate bites for $4.99, and $4.00 dollars worth of ice cream. One pint of chocolate, and one pint of strawberry. We put in six dollars for gas.

That’s why we are responsible enough to be left at home.

Dear Mom and Dad, 9-5-12
Hey!
We decided to starve ourselves and spend no money---- Kidding!
Gosh, milk can be really expensive these days!
There was a great sale at Green’s Groceries for 2 cartons of milk for $6.00. We got bread from Green’s Groceries for $2.25 . We get 3 jars of peanut butter for $6.00 GG. The following are all from GG: Fruit, 2 for $1.80, veggies for 3 bucks, sandwich meat for $2.40 and ice cream, 2 for $3.50.
The next grocery items are from Foster’s Foods: Two jars of jelly for 3.25, 1 for free! Awesome, right?! Anyway, we got candy for 2 for $1.00. We found the best deals at those 2 stores. The cereal was $1.09.
We added all of it together (including the 2 car trips the babysitter needed money for) and came up with $34.29. We had $15.71 left over.
See ya soon!
Connor, Halsey, Brittany, Justin, and Emma
