As you study the work of the Freedmen’s Bureau,  take notes on the Bureau’s responsibilities.  Using this information, students should prepare a job description (what's a job description? here are some examples) for an employee of the Bureau. The description should include tasks assigned to all employees as well as possible tasks that may be required to help freed slaves.  Write this description in the "comments".

Job- Transportation Specialist(truck driver)
Job Purpose-Transports former slaves to different places because they can't afford a carrage ride to their destination.

Job Duties-You will be required to transport former slaves and food to different places.

Skills/Qualifications-Friendliness, horse driving, Problem-solving skills if something happens to vehicle, you need to be brave if you have to drive at late times at night, initiative, leadership, Know how to drive carriage.

DOCTOR
First you have to know these five simple things.

1. You have to Know how to preform CPR.

2. You also have to know have to preform surgey on every body part.

3. You have to be conforting and nice so that the person isn't woried

4. You have to have at least $500,000 because you can't live on the streets.

5. You have to have a medical degree.

JOB: Lawyer

Education needed: You need an advanced degree to become a lawyer

What you are expected to do: Lawyers like you are expected to help the newly freed slaves get homes and solve segregation cases. When you are arguing for the Freedman's Bureau, we want people who are convincing and that can keep cool during a case.

Skills needed: Smart brains, be able to think of something fast, know how to make a good case.

What do lawyers do?
They concentrate on criminal and or civil laws.
Most lawyers dont even see the inside of a courtroom though.
Even lawyers who do spend most of thier times doing research.
How much do lawyers make?
They usually make 110,000 dollars a year. but it takes a while to make that much money. Usually after nine months after graduation
they make 50,000 to 70,000 dollars.
ED requirments,
Getting in to law school is tough because you need to take tests that prove that you would be a good lawyer.
Career paths for lawyers,
25 percent of lawyers are there own boss
The future of lawyers,
The growth of lawyers will grow steadily for the next 10 years.
